Steve Hawkins - Managing Director

Steve spent more than twenty years in the UK ICT industry, primarily in sales and business development roles. He has focused on International Business for the past Eight years, and has worked in association with many UK Government economic development agencies including UK Trade & Investment - UKTI. Steve was with UKTI in the UK and the USA, during which time he worked as Vice Consul Investment, in New York. Steve has also supported the Welsh Development Agency, South East England Development Agency, South West England Development agency and the British Midlands. In addition, he worked in association with BT in New York, USA, where he was responsible for designing and delivering ICT solutions for companies establishing new operations in the UK. This role included assessing real-estate solutions against the requirements of IT redundancy and disaster recovery. During the past 8 years, Steve has gained a wealth of experience relating to foreign direct investment across industries - primarily high-tech, and also the requirements of companies who depend upon high-quality communications as a business enabler.

In addition, Steve has worked in, and managed contact centres, providing him with personal experience in the daily issues affecting the industry. He has assisted contact centre operators establishing new operations in the UK, and worked on operational review assignments for operators with established facilities. He has also completed research projects for central UK Government on the Contact Centre industry.

Steve is married to Sarah, and in his spare time enjoys property development, skiing, classic cars, walking and watersports.
